You know why Gonski funding matters and we need you to help convince other people in our first major Gonski Doorknock.
We will be knocking on doors in targeted areas across the country on two days – Sunday March 13 and Sunday March 20. Please see below for details of all locations and how to get involved.
This is a federal election year and people in marginal electorates and Malcolm Turnbull’s own electorate need to know about the difference this funding makes and why all politicians must support its delivery in full to all schools.
That’s where you come in.
Where the funding is being delivered, people need to hear from local educators and Gonski supporters about the great things that are happening in schools in their area.
Where it is not being delivered in full, people need to know the difference it would make for local schools and students.
This doorknock will be a vital part of building our support in the community and putting pressure on Malcolm Turnbull to reverse his decision to stop the funding.
We would love you to join us in a doorknock if there is a location close to where you live.
If you’ve never doorknocked before, don’t worry. We’ll give you some training and you will be paired up with another Gonski supporter before you start.
You’ll also be given written materials explaining what Gonski means for local schools.
